Growing up as one of the oldest kids in a household of six, my babysitting experience began quite young. I helped my parents heavily starting around the age of ten when their sixth child was born. I have worked with kids between the ages of 6-13 in a schooling context since I was in high school doing internships for teaching. I worked directly with infants ages 6 months-1 year at the Children's Learning Center of Wilmington, NC for 1.5 years beginning in 2016. I also babysat kids of all ages during this time as parents who knew me from the center frequently needed extra help. I also cared for a 16 year old autistic girl every morning for several months, which included getting her ready for school, studying for tests, and driving her there.
