I just finished my first year at Lane Community College. I'll be living in Beaverton for the summer break and am looking to babysit. I love to nurture and engage with children. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I've had the experience of working with ages infant to ten years old during my employment at the daycare, Small World Learning Center in 2015. After my time at the daycare I became a nanny of three lovely girls ages 6, 10, and 13, who I watched five days a week during my senior year of high school. I feel very lucky I was given the opportunity to watch over them and build a relationship with each of the girls. There was never a boring moment with them, whether we were playing one of their games of catch outside, or helping them with homework. I realized I loved working with Read more children during the first youth basketball camp I volunteered at. Helping them learn is an exciting feeling and I realized how important it is for children to be guided by someone who helps them learn and grow. After working at the youth camp, I decided to get a job at a daycare and I started volunteering at my church in the infant room as well. I like to create an environment of lightheartedness by being silly and keep the kids smiling but know when to be serious and take control when necessary.
