I am looking for full time care- 40 hours or more... ideally starting November 1st, however I am willing to entertain earlier start for the right family. I have been in childcare of one kind or another for the past 25 years. First as a babysitter, then I studied Early Childhood Development for a few of years. I then became a nanny for a family who had one child (then 6 weeks old). I remained with that family full time for 3+ years during which they had another child. At that time I moved to live in with another family who had a 4-year-old and a 8-week-old. After 3+ years with that family, I decided to start my own family. I stayed home with my twins for almost 3 years when I became a preschool teacher. I was in the classroom with various ages up to 6. In 2011, I Read more decided to step out of the classroom to become a nanny again. I prefer the more individualized attention which is not always possible in the classroom.
