My name is Yvette Sanchez and I'm 30 years old. I just moved to Beaverton, OR. Before coming here I lived in San Jose, CA for nearly five years and before that I lived in Texas where I was born and raised. Before moving out here I was a nanny to twin girls since they were 5 months old and was with them two months shy of their 4th birthday. I am a Medical Assistant and I am CPR and First Aid certified. I do plan on returning to school online or night classes so that I may complete my degree in the medical field. I decided to become a child care provider so that I can be around loving and sweet children, which in my book all children are sweet and loving. I also feel that by working with children while I'm working on my degree it will allow Read more me to work with all kinds of children and get one on one hand with different mentalities. I do have my 13 year old niece and my roommate's little sister living with us. My niece has been living with me off and on since she was a baby but recently asked her mother to allow her to stay with me permentanly due to differances with her step father. My roommate's little sister came to live with us due to family personal problems. From time to time I did take them both with me to my last nanny job where they enjoyed helping with the twins and the dogs. Like mentioned before I was a nanny for nearly four years. Before that I was a teacher's assistant in a daycare in Texas for three years and I've been babysitting since I was about 12 years old. So with all my experience I would say I have a good 15+ years of experience. I usually tend to take care of children ages newborns-5 year olds but am willing to care for older children too. I have expierence with twins and families with three or more children. I am mostly comfortable with children ages newborns to 10 years old. I believe a child should experience everything worth experiencing from candy to vegetables and all kinds of meats. As for religion I don't have a problem with the different kinds of religions. Everyone has the right to believe what ever they wish to believe. As for activities, I enjoy finger painting and drawing with chalk on the sidewalk with the kids. I believe there should be dancing to silly music. Children should be allowed to get dirty from time to time. Mud pies are a big must if possible. I enjoy playing board games and occasionally relaxing with the kids watching a disney movie with a bowl of popcorn. I can be a big kid when need be.
