I am interested in improving the lives of children and have paid experience watching kids ages 6 months, 1, 5, 6, 7, and 8. I have volunteer experience watching kids all ages from 1-13. In my experience I've organized activities, play, and meals, and helped with homework. I've also tutored a 5 year old child and helped to improve reading and comprehension proficiency and grades. All in all i have approximately 5 years experience working with kids. I'm interested in pursuing this type of work as a career option and am working towards getting a job teaching English in South Korea. I've volunteered at several orphanages in Korea and found the experience extremely fulfilling. I'm currently majoring in Criminal Justice and hope to also pursue a career in that field, either as a police officer or a park ranger.
