Over the years, I have cared for several different families and kinds of children. I have always enjoyed teaching and being creative. I find babysitting a fun way to incorporate both of those passions into one. Education: I have my Associate's Degree in Education, a B.A. in English Lit. and Film, an M.A. in English Lit, and I am currently working on my PhD in Film Studies. I have also been a teacher at the middle school level where I worked with Emotionally Disturbed students in a self-contained 6,7,8th-grade classroom. I have also been a tutor and teacher at the University level. Babysitting Style: I tailor my babysitting style for what works best with each child's needs. Teaching special needs student taught me to have patience and meet children where they are at. I enjoy creating games and activities that have an educational component but I also like to be Read more outdoors ot just watch a movie. I am usually laid back but will follow all guidelines set out by parents. I find that I easily get along with all types of children. I am CPR certified and have my own transportation.
