Hi, My name is Mandy and I have been babysitting/working with children since I was young when I would watch my 4 younger siblings at home. I completed a babysitting course when I was around 11/12 years old and would often watch children in our neighborhood on a regular basis. I have a bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology and Psychology and and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college, I began working at a childhood development center. After working there as a student teacher for several years, I eventually became an Assistant Lead Teacher in one of their classrooms. I also have experience working in a few other early childhood center's as well. I have experience working at the Oregon Zoo as a camp counselor and at the Denver Zoo as a Contract Educator and in their Explore the Shore area as a Natural Play Educator. My Read more passions include educating young children about animals and the natural world. I have a five year old daughter and a four year old son and we love to go on nature walks and learn about the animals around us. At home we have 3 cats, a hamster, a fish, 4 lizards, 4 frogs, leaf bugs, praying mantises, and the occasional pill bugs and caterpillars :)
