I have three young adult son's and 25 years of experience working with young children. I'm retired and would like to work part time. I can't think of any work I'd rather do than take care of children in their homes. I moved to Oregon two years ago after living in Minnesota for thirty years while raising my children. I was a pediatric occupational therapist for over 25 years. I worked at Mayo Clinic, Minneapolis Children's Hospital and in Anoka-Hennepin School District in their Early Intervention Program. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old and over the years worked at three summer camps. I went to the University of Kansas and later got my Master's in Maternal and Child Health at the University of Minnesota where I did research on child care. Now I'm looking forward to taking care of young children in their homes. I respect and Read more listen carefully to parent's about children's needs.
