I am a student at Whitman College studying Sociology and Pre-Health. I will be back this summer in Gresham. I have a 6-week class in the middle of the summer on M/W, but I am free all other days and nights, including weekends. I am responsible; I've been a high school valedictorian, newspaper editor-in-chief, tennis team captain, and leader or member in many other clubs. I have done a ton of volunteer work, including fun mentoring with a 3rd grader, helping out a bilingual 1st grade classroom (I speak fluent Chinese with a tiny bit of Spanish), enhancing social skills in a preschool, elementary tutoring, assisting in a hospice, serving food to the homeless at a kitchen, and others. Now, I have a year of experience babysitting and nannying for several families with kids of all ages. Last semester, I also got experience working in a Danish childcare center. It's a Read more passion! I've learned to be accountable and open-minded. I really adore kids and I hope to work in pediatrics as my career. My absolute favorite thing to do is to be fun and creative with kids of all ages. Your kid(s) and I will have a blast! But I am also punctual, patient, and relaxed.
