Hello! My name is Heather, and I am a 25-year-old with an MA in Philosophy searching for some extra work. I have been babysitting/working with children for over 10 years. I have also worked as the drama director at a camp, where I was expected to plan daily activities for large groups of children of all different ages. I have volunteered with special needs children, and I've taken psychology courses in development from infancy to childhood. I am capable of taking care of many children at once- my aunt has five children, and I watch them frequently, and have since the first child was a newborn.
I have much experience with activities to participate in with children, including drama, arts and crafts, horseback riding, reading, swimming, board games, video games, cooking and baking (just to name a few). I love engaging children in fun activities that aid in their intellectual growth and help them to gain confidence.
I have always loved children and being a part of their lives, and there is nothing more satisfying for me than knowing that I have made even a small difference in the life of one child.
