I recently left my job as a surgical technologist so that I could stay home with my son. He was born Prematurely weighing in at 1lb 11oz and was kept in the NICU for 2.5 months. He came home on oxygen and had terrible reflux. Because of his medications, oxygen needs, and overall health concerns we decided being home with him was the most important job for our family. He is 15 months old and the reason I have such a passion for little lives. They are so important and I know how scary it is leaving them with anyone, especially when you dont know the person the way you want. I am 27 years old, have 1 child, a husband, and 2 dogs. We live on a small farm but have yet to get any farm animals, so our dogs enjoy roaming the property. I am CPR and first Read more aid certified. It was required for us to be able to bring our son home- we've actively used CPR once on him. Trust me, the memory and ability never leaves me. I know this last part might be the downfall, but I will need to bring my son with me. We do not go out in public often so that he doesn't get sick because his lungs are still fragile. I do what I can for him any any other little miracles I meet.
