I have a lot of experience with children. My first job out of college was as a support teacher (The Benchmark School in Media, PA) in mathematics and language arts to students 1st through 6th grade. I gained experience working with children with ADHD and other learning disabilities. I also worked as a camp counselor (same school) for two summers organizing games, activities, snake breaks, lunches, pick-ups and drop-offs. I also have experience as a live-in nanny several nights a week for two children (ages 7 and 10). I helped with pick-ups and drop-offs between school and their parents' homes, swimming practice and Taekwondo lessons, packed lunches, cooked dinner, helped with homework, organized activities, helped with holiday shopping, etc. We did everything from baking to candle making to bike riding.
