In my home I've always been referred to as the "peace keeper". I find with children, conflict is avoidable as long as the person tending to the situation has a desire to understand what is truly going on inside the childs mind. It's all about asking questions. For about six years I babysat a family of four children all under the age of eight, until the oldest was able to watch her younger siblings. I don't have a lot of trouble with kids. I'm an active, creative, excited girl who won't say no to a fun event because I'm tired... It's not worth the fit! I feel I have a way with children and sparking their curiosity, and would love to be able to watch a child grow because I'm getting them to ask questions and interact in new ways with their environment.
