Alexis was fantastic until she just disappeared. She came to our house twice and I thought all was well as our dependable date night sitter until she just no longer responded. I asked her on 2 occasions to babysit and she replied she was busy and the last time said that she was working, which made me think her schedule availability changed. I then asked her if her work schedule precludes her from night time sitter arrangements. No response. I asked her if she is still interested in babysitting, no response. She was paid well and watched the kids mostly while they were sleeping and we offered to get her dinner while sitting, so I know that's not the issue. I get that things happen or maybe you have moved on, but to just ignore us and not say that your situation has changed, seems almost dishonest to me. The least you could do is tell us that you cannot help us anymore. Babysitters are not easy to come by and we put in time and effort on sittercity to get a reliable sitter only to be disappointed.
