Hello, My favorite part of being around children is observing and building personal relationships with each child and encouraging independence in their learning process. Children have always surrounded me. I grew up with my mother being a Childcare/Preschool Teacher out of her own home. Every opportunity that was presented I would educate and look after children. I have been a nanny for children ranging from infant to 13 years old. From there, I worked for a retirement home caring for the elderly, as well as, being my mothers back up childcare/preschool provider. I decided I wanted something more, so I accepted a job working for a preschool in a center based atmosphere that thrives on education and artistic knowledge. My responsibilities include planning and implementing the learning curriculum lessons for my classroom aging 12-24 months. I provide strategies to capture and incorporate my children's interests and choosing learning experiences based Read more on their developmental needs, and most importantly, creating a fun and exciting structured learning environment for my children! I also do meal times, circle time, reading, potty training, etc. I spend numerous amount of time in all classrooms ranging from infant to pre-kindergarten. I have extensive experience working with multiple children at one time. I thrive in not only educating young children, but also engaging in a fun, loving, energetic, and structured atmosphere. I also have numerous certificates and attended many classes pertaining to educating children that I am able to share with you, including CPR/First Aide, food handlers, and Love & Logic. I am also enrolled in the Criminal Background Registry.
