My love of children coupled with the degree I am earning in the medical field makes the perfect blend for caring for children and infants. I have previously worked in an In-home daycare, been a nanny and been a childcare provider for multiple families. My work detail for nannying was for a young family with two boys, one of which has Type I Diabetes. Our summertime routine included lots of play time, trips to the park, special activities, reading, homework, travel to swim lessons, soccer and basketball practices along with proper meals and frequent blood sugar level testing and the subsequent insulin dosing. Previous to this nannying experience I worked at an in-home daycare with children ages ranging from infant to 5th grade. While I worked in the In-home daycare the child to adult ratio was 4 to 1. My responsibilities included infants and toddlers care: general playtime care, putting Read more down for naps, snack preparation, picking up children after school, helping the older children with homework, walks to the park and playing with the children. Another of the multiple families that I provided childcare for was a family with twin infants, from 2 months through age 14 months. My latest charge is an infant and was 6 weeks old when I started, she is now 10 months my care for her is once weekly. I have always loved working with children. I would love to continue providing care, support, and intellect, as well as learning from children. CPR and First Aid trained.
