I have over 9 years of childcare experience with children, ages 3 months to 12 years of age. I started in childcare when I was in high school, and after high school and throughout college have continued to provide childcare to various families for the life experience and supplemental income. For me working with children, is one of the most rewarding things you can experience or do in your life. I can only hope that one day my husband and I will get to have the same experiences with our own children. I enjoy staying active and finding creative things to do. I am a crafty person with many creative ideas and I like projects, or helping with homework and am a very patient individual. I also have experience with children who have learning disabilities and mental disabilities and am comfortable in these situations as well. I am a student at Portland State University, and I am studying Child and Family Studies there while working toward my Bachelor's of Science in Social Work and Human Services.
