During the seventh and eighth grade, I was part of a program in which I was allowed to assist the first grade teachers at the neighboring elementary school. I was easily integrated as a mentor and friend to the little ones as we played games, completed fun activities, and taught them lessons. During this experience, I discovered my ability to relate with kids and understand their needs and learning preferences. Also during those two years, I found out I love working with kids!
