I work as the Executive Director for a non-profit organization that serves vulnerable families, and I am passionate and dedicated to my work. I live with my partner and his two children ages 10 and 14 who live with us half time. One of my greatest joys in life is being an aunt and mentor to my nephew and to my friend's kiddos. I have always been an animal lover and I am happy to care for your pets. My dog Bodhi is almost ten and might to the cutest dog on the planet and I recently adopted a new cat, Willow, after loosing my sweet cat Halley this summer after 19 years together. In my down time I enjoy hiking, yoga, dinner with friends, various kinds of civic engagement and cozy nights with a good movie or a Netflix marathon. I am working towards my goals of providing foster Read more care and becoming a Doula with a focus on serving women and girls who are recovering from trauma. In order to responsibly take those future steps I am focusing now on looking for extra work to help pay off my student loans (I have a masters in public administration) and I have decided to put my many years of childcare experience (as a teen and young adult) and childhood development experience (professional) to good use doing something that I enjoy in the process. I have completed a background check, have references and to be honest you can probably learn a bit about me from a simple Google search and/or my LinkedIn account due to the work I do in the community for Clackamas Women's Services, Camp HOPE and A Safe Place Family Justice Center. I am primarily looking for evening and weekend work however I am able to work some weekdays as well. I am reliable, resourceful and adaptable and I deeply value integrity and authentic communication, I enjoy cleaning and organizing and I am more than happy to clean up for you when the kids are napping or otherwise engaged in downtime if appropriate.
