I've been babysitting since I was 13 as a team with my older sister, and have cared for both boys and girls between newborns and 11 years of age. My most recent experience was as an au-pair in France as I was practicing my French and caring for 3- and 7-year old girls who challenged both my language skills and my authority as well! Over a few weeks, we developed a balanced play and discipline that worked for us and I realized how universal a language play is. I am currently in the process of training for my Childbirth Educator, and have taken classes in lactation and breastfeeding support.
