I've been babysitting for 5 years, and have done lots of jobs over those years-- partially because I have a large family, and lots of relatives that need someone to watch their children. I have experience with kids ranging from 2 months to 11 years, and I have experience babysitting multiple children at once. I always make sure to interact and pay attention to the children I'm caring for, whether it be reading a book to them, playing house, weaving a piece of fabric on a miniature loom, or helping with basic science experiments. (While some of those examples are oddly specific, I hope it illustrates the range of actives I can and have dealt with.) I know some children are very energetic, and I'm definitely capable of keeping up with them. If I need to make food for children I'm caring for, I know my way around a kitchen-- Read more and I'm a pretty good cook, even for picky eaters. Also, as a bonus: I'm an artist (going to art college in the fall) and in the past children have been pretty entertained by me drawing things for them or drawing alongside me.
