Hi Portland parents, I hope this letter finds you well. Thanks for taking the time to look over my profile. My name is BriAnne, I'm 29. I'm looking for part time or occasional babysitting positions. (1-2 days a week) I am currently a nanny for one family 2-3 days a week and I teach yoga. I come from a large family with lots of nieces and nephews and have been babysitting since I was 14. I also spent 7 years working as a river guide with many different youth groups. I am comfortable working with all ages including infants. My experience is more with toddlers and young children. I love to get outside and explore the area with kids; Red Yarn, Mr. Ben, Story time, Park adventures, I like to play and have fun. I love to cook, to help kids navigate their daily routines and discover new things. I’m Read more patient and nurturing. I love to teach kids yoga, and can offer that to your child. I have experience in first aid, wilderness first aid and CPR , but my certifications are currently expired, but by April they should be updated. I'm currently taking Psychology courses at PCC in preparation for Graduate School; I find this area study to be very beneficial to my work with kids. Understanding the ins and outs of growing makes me have so much more respect for all the work going on inside a child as they grow, it's a lot to go through!! I like to encourage children's imaginations - and to myself never stop seeing the magic that exists in our world. Arts and crafts, new games and story time are all things I love to do. I have good communication skills and a good sense of self. I am well traveled with a lovely collection of worldly lullabies to share with kids.
