Hi there, My name is Roxanne. I am 26 year old, down-to-earth lady living in SE Portland. I currently have a full-time 8-5 job in the environmental industry. I am looking for evening (any) and/or weekend babysitting gigs. My experience: Worked at the Pacific Science Center (in Seattle) for 7 years in the education department. I was a lead teacher for summer camps (working with grades 2-8), lead staff in our overnight science program, and frequently taught science workshops for kids and families. I worked there all throughout college and graduate school (University of Washington alum) and it was a wonderful experience. During college and graduate school, I also babysat for several families in my neighborhood on a regular basis. -Babysat weekly for several years for a family with two little boys (age 1-5 years, and after the younger was born I also watched him from age 2mo-2 years). I Read more generally cooked them dinner and did the bedtime routine, but I also spent quite a bit of time watching them during the daytime. I had a great relationship with the entire family. What I'm looking for: -I would love to find evening or weekend babysitting gigs and develop long-term relationships with a few families. Ideally families would be located around NE/SE Portland, but I am willing to drive elsewhere within the city for the right jobs. Other qualifications: -Can help with homework -Don't have TV in my own home, more than happy to follow that in yours -Have a safe and reliable car and clean driving record -Love any pets, happy to care for them along with your kid(s) -Very neat/clean person and will always leave your home as good or better than it was when I came in -I am also First Aid and CPR certified, including infant
