I recently moved to Marin county from Portland, OR to train at Tamalpa Institute where I'm studying movement-based expressive arts therapy. I'm a graduate of Portland State University where I majored in psychology. While in Portland, I was very involved in Nia, a fusion fitness practice and taught Nia for Kids. I love teaching kids, there's always something new to learn from the teaching process! I appreciate their insight, creativity, and way of thinking. I've taught Nia for Kids classes at The International School and at Atkinson Elementary's SHINE Program in the Portland area. I did my senior capstone volunteering as a mentor at the Boys and Girls Club in Sellwood, Oregon. I also volunteered at an outreach program in Montreal, where I taught children's choir classes. I've nannied and babysat in Portland and in Montreal (where I attended McGill University) and worked at a preschool in my hometown of Read more Twin Falls, ID. I have experience caring for and teaching a variety of ages (babies, preschoolers, kindergartners, and teens).
