Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look over my bio, let me tell you a bit about me. My name is Colleen Kane and I am currently in my junior year at the University of Portland receiving my degree in elementary education. Most all of my jobs have been childcare based, and as an elementary education major, I truly do love being in the company of children- helping kiddos in any way possible, while playing right alongside. As one of four kids I am used to the large family dynamic. My younger brother has Down Syndrome, so I am also very comfortable with caring for children of various developmental and behavioral levels. I have been working as a babysitter and nanny for over eight years now. In this time I have been fortunate enough to watch many of my kiddos grow and develop- I really strive to form Read more lifelong friendships with the families (children and parents included) that I sit for. I have also spent multiple summers working for a K-2 summer camp back home in Seattle. Over my years as a nanny I have cared for children as young as 3 months to as old as 12, and I really am confident in all aspects that come with babysitting- making meals, keeping kiddos excited and entertained, taking them on adventures, putting them to bed and keeping the house nice and tidy. I am also used to caring for multiple kiddos at a time, the majority of my families having about three kids- I am very fond of the exciting chaos that comes with a large family! :) I am a very responsible, mature, upbeat person, and I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to get to know you and your family.
