Are you looking for an experienced and reliable sitter who can set very firm, clear boundaries while also having a ridiculously fun time with your kids? Do you value adults who can get down on the floor and play, ask thought provoking questions, listen to both you and your children in order to understand their needs, and also make your kids laugh? Let’s talk! I have worked with children from birth through high school, including nannying for infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. I previously taught, both full-time and as a substitute, in several excellent child development centers in the Portland area. I love people of all ages, but have a special appreciation for the 0-8 year old crowd. I have recently moved into more of an administrative role in the education field, which is very enjoyable, but I miss spending time with children (and could still use a little Read more extra income). I am CPR and First Aid trained, have an education degree, and have extensive training in early childhood education. I’m interested in finding a couple families who need occasional evening, weekend, or holiday child care. It’s also possible that I could do occasional care if your child is home sick. You got her back to SLEEP in her CRIB?!” and “Please, please can you quit your job and nanny for us?”
