Hello, my name is Cali. I have years of experience caring for children of all ages. I also have two children of my own - a 4 year old girl and an 8 year old boy. I have studied speech and hearing sciences at PSU and I'm currently working my way into a medical program that begins this fall. I have volunteered for the last 3 years in the Women and Newborn Care Unit at Kaiser Hospital. I also help out in the classroom at Winterhaven School where my son attends 2nd grade. I'll have this summer off from school and volunteer work. I'm looking to care for children anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday. Ideally, I would have my children with me at times while babysitting. They're sweet kids and super fun to be around. I have tons of experience caring for groups of children, Read more but I'm also okay with watching just one child. I tend to incorporate a 'homeschooling' approach with my children during summer break. Guiding children in the learning process is something that I love doing and is very important to me. I also infuse arts/crafts and outdoor activities in my daily routine. We play lots of sports, hang out at parks, read books, and work on a crafty projects at home. We do not watch TV.
