Hello! My name is Megan. Nice to meet you :) I am an incredibly creative and caring person who loves working with children. I especially love being creative with them and teaching them new things. I have so many fun games, ideas, positivity, dress up outfits, accessories, and art supplies to share with your children. I also have a college degree in theatre and writing and love helping children with their homework! In addition, I have been trained in dance and yoga. I pay close attention to children's interests and find activities that coincide with those. I have a lot of experience working with children. Even in elementary school, I was tutoring children and working with two and three year olds. I started babysitting at the age of 13 and have worked with many different families of all sizes and age groups. I also have experience as a nanny for Read more a few families. I currently teach at a school in Portland, which encourages children lead activities, and teaches using a mix of RIE and Reggio. The students are ages infant-through preschool and I have worked actively with every age group. I especially love babysitting because I am able to impact children in a positive way and share inspiration. I have a fond memory of being six years old. My teacher had all of her students write and illustrate their own books and read it aloud to the class. I wrote and illustrated 3. I still have them and haven't stopped writing since!
