Daughter of a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher mother and a handful of aunts, plus a big family from a father who's the oldest of 9, I've spent significant time around children in my life. I would babysit in my teen and college years, helped my mother out in her classes intermittently, and lead creative play with cousins of all ages while parents relaxed at family reunions. I am very big on imagination, creative artistic expression activities, games and positive focus language. I also have a very soft calming, loving natural rapport. Personally, I meditate daily and eat very healthy. I am astute at cooking for restricted diets, as I have been GF, dairy free, and sugar free for about 7 years. I spent the last ten years designing clothes in the LA fashion industry, and then after a vacation to the rain forests of Alaska, decided to sell everything I Read more owned and quit my job to move to Portland.
