I am a recent graduate of Lewis & Clark College with a B.A. in English. Education is my passion, and I hope to one day be a professor of English. I have worked as a Day Camp Counselor and Director for 5 summers, and worked at an After School Program for children aged 4-12 for 3 years in high school. I am comfortable with kids of all ages, but particularly love preschool and elementary school age kids. I have 7 nephews, aged 1 - 10, and have spent a lot of time babysitting them throughout my life! I am currently registered in the Oregon Central Background Registry, and have a certified background check from Checkr. I love pets of all kinds, and would be happy to hang out with your pet as well as your kids! I love cooking, and would also be happy to prepare meals for your children.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.

Samantha received a glowing review from all 4 children. When I walked back in the door I heard unusual things like "when are you going out again?" Or "we have a new babysitter now, right?" I also heard a rumor that my 9 year old son decided to skip out on half of his electronics time to continue playing with everyone. I don't think I've ever heard of behavior like that from him before.
