HI! My name is Mallory, and I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in December with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. After graduation, I realized what I wanted most was adventure, so I decided to take a big leap and move to Portland - a new city I'd never even visited before. I grew up in Memphis, TN and have been babysitting and working with kids since I was in middle school. I started by volunteering at my school's preschool's summer camp as a counselor and began babysitting after completing the American Red Cross babysitting course. I enjoyed babysitting, petsitting and housesitting throughout high school for work and am looking forward to meeting families in Portland. I'm an only child, so I have always loved spending time with babies and kids whenever I get the chance. I really enjoy unplugging from technology and doing things I did when I was little with the kids I watch - things like going on walks and bike rides, coloring, playing in sprinklers, and exploring the park. Overall, I just really enjoy having fun with kids while serving as a good role model for them and keeping them safe.
