Hello families! I am a 24 year old Portland native after spending two years abroad living in Australia.I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2016 with a degree in Human Physiology and a special interest in Nutrition. I decided to move to Australia to explore a bit more of the world before jumping into a more permanent job or masters program. I fell in love with Australia and have just completed my second working holiday visa here. I came to Australia to work as a live in Au Pair. When I first arrived, I looked after a four year old and a two year old, and three months into the job, the mother welcomed another baby into the world. For the next three months, I looked after all three children. I also cooked and cleaned for the family which I am still happy to do if desired. Since then, Read more I have had three different nanny jobs with children ages ranging from 2-18. I absolutely love the energy that children bring to the table and genuinely enjoy looking after them. I was raised by an extremely warm and loving family and try to give children the same support and environment that I experienced while growing up. I always try to steer children away from electronics and encourage them to do other activities such as playing outside, cooking, or crafting. I am really passionate about children and giving them the best care I possibly can. I consider myself a very kind, responsible, and calm person. I learned a lot with my live in au pair job and feel extremely comfortable around children. I am able to manage chaos very well and handle stressful situations very well.
