Hi, I’m Jennifer, and I have my Bachelor of Arts in Education and have taught preschool, first grade, third grade, and secondary including special education. In addition, I have a year of experience working with infants and toddlers in a day care. Prior to getting my teaching degree, I was a tutor, substitute teacher, and teacher’s assistant. Also, I have two grown children of my own. Through my experience, I know that each child comes with their unique personality and I enjoy helping children to grow socially and intellectually. When teaching and caring for children, I love to play games and read stories. One of my favorite parts of working with children is inspiring them to use their imagination by making up stories or making crafts together. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, hiking, and drawing. I am looking for part-time work since I will be attending Portland State Read more University full time. I am looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your children.
