Hi, my name is Erin. I have over ten years of experience working with children, youth and special needs. I follow a strength base model and positive discipline approach. I believe in delivering kindness and firmness at the same time and creating an environment that allows children to think on their own. Families know me to be reliable, loving, creative, active, no TV, fun and energetic. It's true—Erin is amazing. She has been caring for our son since he was 7 mos old (he's almost 2 1/2 now) and she has always been reliable and easy to communicate with. She is incredibly warm and loving but also manages to set clear and firm boundaries so that he understands exactly what is expected of him. She has really helped him develop his imagination and the ability to entertain himself, not to mention language and motor skills. She has always respected and supported our parenting values and rules, and has in fact taught us a lot. We often find ourselves saying to each other, "have you tried it the way Erin does it?" Most importantly, our son LOVES her. She is the best.

Erin is simply amazing. She is extremely responsible and she engages our kids better than I have ever seen any of our previous caregivers. She is very creative at keeping the kids occupied and keeps them active. My kids ask for her when she isn't here and everyone in our lives who have met her (from neighbors to our local coffee shop baristas) have been impressed. I can't recommend Erin highly enough.
