Hi! I'm new to this website, but not new to babysitting. I am a 27-year-old mature, responsible, fun and friendly lady living in SE Portland. I grew up in a north suburb of Chicago and began babysitting when I was 16-years-old, taking care of a 7-year-old until she was 10, almost every day after school until she would go to bed. I have taken care of other young children on and off since then in the age range of a few months to a few years old. I am currently taking classes at PCC, nanny an 8-month-old beautiful baby girl as needed, and am working at a restaurant a few days a week. I love being with kids and I would love to build a relationship with a family and have a couple set days I can be with one or two children, rather than just nannying as needed (however Read more I am usually available short notice). I am great at playing with newborn babies, all the way up to preteens. I like to read, sing and play games with kids of all ages to stimulate their minds and help them learn and grow. I am also very artsy and love making craft projects. I love pets and am completely comfortable if you have them, however, I don't have any of my own. I am an excellent cook and housekeeper and can take care of any extra errands you may have that need to be done. I am willing to travel 10 - 15 miles for a family, however, if we just clicked perfectly and you were a bit farther I'd be open to working it out. My hourly rate ranges from $13 - $15/hour depending on what is needed from me, and an extra $5/hour for a second child. Please feel free to ask me any questions you'd like.
