My husband and I contacted Debra to watch our 20 month old son for a night out while we visited portland. We were instantly put at ease on her arrival, she came with printed referrals as well as providing her identification for our peace of mind. She was very professional, friendly, responsible I could go on and on! Next time we are in Portland we will definitely hire her again!!! Thank you Debra!!

We found Mary Poppins! Debra is the most professional, well-organized babysitter that we have ever hired! She came with a wonderful smile, and an easy approachable manner with our boys, ages 8 and 9. She impressed everyone in the family right away with her preparedness and organization: she arrived with her portfolio of her work and recommendations that won points with the parents, and our two boyes LOVED that Debra brought a whole basket full of goodies to make monster cupcakes! (BTW, Debra asked beforehand if this was okay with us if she baked with the boys, showing she wanted to respect the parents' wishes.) We felt confident leaving our two songs with Debra, and left feeling carefree to our night out on the town. When we returned late that night at the time agreed, that's when we realized that we had hired Mary Poppins! Not only had the kids had a blast (they told us so the next morning), but all the living areas and kitchen had been magically tidied and neatly arranged! The magic is Debra! She is committed to providing a caring, loving, teaching, and FUN experience for your kids, and she anticipates what she can do to help make your life as a parent easier, including offering to complete any household management tasks while she's here. That's powerful magic indeed! Debra is also available for us to go away for a romantic weekend, which we will definitely plan on now that we know she's available! We are thrilled to find Debra and hope that other families will get to share her magic.

Debra was nothing short of amazing and beyond professional. We contacted her so that my husband and I could go out on a much needed date night. She was prompt, confirmed that morning for the evening, and even brought things for my two boys (ages 9 and 7) to do including a fudge making kit and coloring posters. She made dinner, cleaned up, loaded the dishwasher and even vacuumed. No stone was left unturned! Most importantly, my boys loved her and want to know when she is coming back as she played cards and games with them - even the wii! Bottom line, we will definitely be calling her again and are more than happy to add a few lines to her ever-growing collection of glowing references!

Debra has helped us to take care of our 8 month old baby at part time basis when we were in a difficult period for a month. We were lucky to meet with her after trying many nannies who only does babysitting. She was very professional as an caregiver and put safety as highest priority . Beyond that, she made hours so fun with my baby. She brought her out for a walk, talked/sang to her, taught her scrabble on a drawing board etc. Before she leaves she will make thing tidy up in the play area as well as kitchen. Now that our baby is over 1 year old . we always thinks it was a pleasure to get her help at our family when there is a chance .

Debra is great with my 6-year-old daughter for babysitting/nannying. She is able to adapt to my crazy and detailed schedule, is dependable, professional, conscientious, and has incredible patience. She evaluates the situation, tailors care for my mother and balances the structure for both my aging mother with early dementia and active daughter well. In addition, she communicates well. Debra is excellent at working with the parent to establish consistent rules and routines with my daughter. She is well-versed and consistent at teaching my daughter about working together, rewards, and recognition. On top of it all, she's patient with my pets (a dog and a cat, who are both really old and demanding). She also does an amazing job at keeping the house tidy and is a great organizer. Debra is an amazing caregiver and I am lucky to have her few days a week.

Debra is great at caring for my aging mother for senior care. She is able to adapt to my crazy and detailed schedule, is dependable, professional, conscientious, and has incredible patience. She evaluates the situation, tailors care for my mother and balances the structure for both my aging mother with early dementia and active daughter well. In addition, she communicates well. Debra is excellent at working on memory care for my mother. On top of it all, she's patient with my pets (a dog and a cat, who are both aging and demanding). Debra was an amazing caregiver for my 16 month old daughter, Ava. She is very professional, took Ava out on an outing, and even had dinner ready when we got home!! I would not hesitate to have her over again!

Debra is everything her impressive experience would indicate and much more. I have been amazed time and time again by her engagement with my two boys (ages 7 months and 2.5 years). Debra is wonderful at working with the parent to establish consistent rules and routines with the children. Debra is very knowledgable about different developmental stages and has a lot of wisdom to impart when dealing with challenging issues like potty training, nutrition, behavior, etc. Debra keeps the kids really active (outside if possible) and is always stimulating them mentally with challenging (but totally age-appropriate) questions and games. Debra keeps notes on everything that happens during the day, and is quick to share fun stories or new developments. On top of all this, despite the fact that I have 4 big dogs that are inside the house most of the time, Debra ensures that my house is in better shape than she found it when I get home from work. Debra has also never been late – she is extremely flexible and dependable. Debra is a fantastic caregiver and any family would be lucky to have her.

Debra is terrific. She's friendly, professional and prepared. She was also very thoughtful about what might interest our guys and looking for activities that would interest them.

Debra has been great with my 4-yr old daughter. She is not only dependable, but also skilled at finding out what interests my daughter. Now, whenever we need a sitter, my daughter asks if we can have Debra over.
