I was a creative photography student at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and have been living in Portland, OR for the past seven years. I graduated from Portland State University with my bachelor of fine arts degree with focuses in photography, video, sculpture, and printmaking. Aside from art and photography, I am interested in possibly becoming a certified doula, though that may be a few years down the road. I have been babysitting for more than a decade and have worked as a nanny for the past seven years for several families (with one+ year commitments). I have a great love for children of all ages. I enjoy teaching them about the world and giving them fun and educational experiences. I love doing art projects and cultivating imagination and creativity. Shannon watched my 3 year old daughter and nephew last weekend and did a fabulous job. She was on time and very professional, she asked all the right questions and immediately put me at ease.
