I am a 47 year old mother to a adult special needs child. My son is 22 and is on the autism spectrum and I am his biggest advocate. I am employed through the state or Oregon as his caregiver. I graduated in June from Mt. Hood Community College with my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree online. I will be transferring to Southern Oregon University to get my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in the fall of 2017. With my degree I intend to work with special needs children. I have spent 5 years working in the field of Early Childhood Education as a Toddler teacher and a Preschool teacher. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and spoiling my grandchildren. I also enjoy doing crafts and gardening.
