But I will gladly look after them! I am newly transplanted to the Salem area and looking for a job while I attend college. I have yet to decide on a single degree path but will be taking my first French course this Spring. Aside from foreign languages, I am also interested in geography, political science, and film (so maybe one day I'll make a geopolitical documentary...in French?) I have been looking after children, mostly family and friends of family, since I was 13. I have worked with all ages but have the most experience with kids aged 7 to 12. In August 2012 I was a volunteer camp counselor with the YMCA where I spent a week in mountainous terrain with a dozen 11 year old girls - it was truthfully one of the most rewarding, intense, crazy fun weeks of my life. I had to obtain American Red Read more Cross CPR and First Aid certification for the position but have since expired (though I'd be willing to get re-certified.)
