Hello! My name is McKenzie and I am 22 years old. I am interested in becoming a babysitter/nanny because I love caring for others and providing a helping hand when needed. I have previously cared for my younger sister from the day she was born up until she could care for herself. I cared for her in every way possible such as feeding, changing diapers, burping, changing and washing clothes, bathing, putting to bed, cleaning up after and transportation. I have previously been a caregiver for my aunt whom has a mental disability. I have stayed with her overnight, for multiple nights at a time, helped to keep her on schedule for when to eat, brush her teeth, bathe, take her vitamins, when to exercise, and entertainment activities for her specifically as well as group projects that we can work on together. I am currently a student in the Echocardiography Read more program at OIT in Klamath Falls, but Sandy Oregon is my home town. With the career I am pursuing, it is required that we provide excellent patient care. Throughout my education in the medical field, I have learned how to properly care for someone medically, emotionally, and therapeutically. My other certifications/skills include: previously being CPR certified, 2 years of a second language (Spanish), and experience communicating with and caring for special needs/mentally disabled adults along with disabled pets. I am very optimistic and like to keep an open mind about most situations. I try to be the best version of myself that I can be everyday of the week!
