I have worked as a full time nanny on and off again for nine years. Each summer in high school I would nanny for my neighbors or family friends. I would transport the kids to summer camps, bake in the kitchen with them and make a cake for mommy and daddy, have scavenger hunts in the back yard, play in the sprinkler, go for walks or bug hunts, meal prep and always clean up after myself, do arts and crafts, sing silly songs, make sure to read a good book a day, help along with teaching an instrument, and so many more fun activities. I don't like to put kids in front of the television because I want kids to learn and grow and it is better to learn from activities and books. I strive to do the best I can do.
