I have been helping take care of children since the age of ten when my younger brother was born. I helped my mom with many child care duties, including everything from diaper changing, feeding, bathing and anything else you can think of! I also helped take care of my younger sister three years later when she was born. Even though I was young, my neighbours already trusted me in taking care of their kids. I have babysat throughout high school and through out college. I really enjoy doing it and giving a family a helping hand and this is why I still want to do it after graduating and having a full time job. My experience ranges from young children to older kids. Outside of babysitting, I was a councelor in high school for 6th graders when they went to an outdoor camp. I was in charge of a group Read more of females during their trip. I also worked at FUNtastic Kidz, which is an outdoor summer activity program for ages 5-12. I was responsible for ages 5-6 and 7-8. Even though the kids were always little balls of energy, while working with at least 10 kids, you learn how to manage them and keep them entertained. I grew up in a small town in Eastern Oregon and definitely wanted to move closer to a city when I was going to college. I recently graduated with a Biology degree in May of 2014 from Pacific University and moved to the Tualatin area shortly after. I love being no more than 20 minutes away from everything. I currently work a graveyard schedule that's Sunday night through Wednesday morning. After that I am free until Sunday night the following week. My hobbies include reading, art, pet sitting, volunteering, Netflix marathons, hiking, enjoying the sunshine whenever it comes out! I am super laid back and easy going. I am always understanding and compassionate. If you choose me to take care of your child or children, you would see that I am responsible and trustworthy. I also do have my own car (It's a PT cruiser and it's super spacious!), so I can easily commute anywhere.
