Experience Childcare Provider at My Bundle of Joy ~ 2020 My Bundle of joy is a small in home daycare with multiple locations in the Portland area. As a childcare provider I worked with three other women taking care of the ten enrolled children ages four months to one years old. I worked a 40 hr week, Tuesday through Friday. We kept the kids on a strict schedule in regards to changing, napping and eating, all while taking notes to report back to the parents at the end of each day. Watching the kiddos play and helping them reach new milestones every week was incredibly rewarding and I never found myself not wanting to come into work. I am already a naturally very patient person and this job definitely strengthened that aspect of myself even more so. KidZone attendant at Mt. As the KidZone attendant I worked solo in a room for four and a half hours in the morning Monday through Friday watching up to 10 kids at a time. Parents would drop their kids off with me while they went to work out and I would work to keep them engaged for whatever period of time. I strived to cater to each child and go the extra mile when it came to decorating the room and conjuring up ideas for games and crafts. P.A. (Program Aide) at Camp Wil•Lo•Linn ~ 2014-2017 Wil•Lo•Linn is an all outdoors Girl Scout day camp that hosts over 100 girls for one week each summer. As a P.A., myself and another fellow Girl Scout would be put in charge of an age group of about 10 younger Girl Scouts for the week. Each day we led the girls through a schedule of activities, whether it be leather crafting, knot tiring or a hike while singing along the way.
