My name is Sumerlyn and I am attending college at PCC. I am taking my prerequisites for nursing and am almost done and eligible to apply for nursing school! I have experience baby sitting and working with children as an outdoor school counselor for a few years. I am currently focusing on my schooling and am about to start volunteering within a childrens unit at OHSU. I plan to get my masters in nursing to become a nurse practitioner and work within pediatrics. I enjoy working with kids because I find it to be the most fun and rewarding. For the last few years I have worked within resturaunts and really enjoyed that setting. Though now, I am looking for a babysitting job to expand my experience in working with kids, and to have a more flexible schedule around my schooling.
