Hi! My name is Shenandoah but I go by Shenny. I am 18 years old and currently searching for a babysitting job! I have been babysitting since I was about 10 years old. I would watch my younger brother here and there and occasionally my mother's friend's son. Through the years, as I gained more experience, I have had various babysitting jobs. I have taken care of babies, toddlers, and children. My mother is a nanny so I have occasionally assisted in taking care of the children she cares for. I have cared for up to three children at a time in place of her- a 7 month old & two twin toddlers. Care/responsibilities include cooking/preparing healthy meals, feeding, changing diapers/clothes, bathing, playing with child (doing crafts, playing with toys, going outside, etc.), teaching age appropriate education & providing mental stimulation (abc's & 123's, how to spell their names, assisting Read more with language development, reading, etc.), assisting with homework, and putting child/baby to sleep. I can also perform light housework if needed (wiping countertops, doing dishes, laundry, picking up toys, vacuuming, mopping etc.) I am good with pets and have no allergies. I can care for them if needed also. I have always loved caring for children. I would be more than happy to provide safe, quality child care in your home or mine.
