I am a graduate student at Duquesne University pursuing my Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. This field has provided me a lot of interaction with children, of all different backgrounds and temperaments. It also requires me to have an updated criminal clearance check and child abuse clearance. The reason I chose this field is because I love providing service to those in need, and especially love working with children! I have past experience working as a summer camp counselor, and was a Resident Assistant at Duquesne for three years. (If you think children are tough, you have never been responsible for a building full of 18-20 year olds!)
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
