I am a Sophomore going into my Junior year of college as an Administration of Justice (Criminal Justice) major. I did work at a daycare center for 2 years as a volunteer worker, and once I turned 18-years-old, I became eligible to supervise my own classroom. I eventually quit that job to explore more job options and now I am currently working at my school. When the school year ends, I will be free for the summer. I took a CPR class in school and was qualified to get my certification slip but didn't get it because of my financial status at the time but I do know CPR. I can watch kids between the age of 5-6 months old and up. The moment I realized I loved watching kids and growing a bond with them was when my younger cousin was around 5 months old. I saw him for Read more the first time and my entire life changed. I never thought a baby could love someone they barely knew but when I saw him, he looked up at me and smiled so big that it made me the happiest person. When I would babysit him for his mother, we would have the greatest time because he was so joyful. He's 5 years old now, and I still have a wonderful time with him. He's the reason I love children. Having a bond with a child that could love you no matter what is the greatest love there is, and I would hope that I could not only love others but love my own when the time comes.
