Hi, my name is Mary and my family consists of myself, my husband, and my two sons, ages 6 and 2. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, and previously worked for many years as a librarian. I love kids, especially babies and toddlers, and have been babysitting since I was a teenager. I am looking to find one or two children to watch in my home, since I need to pick my older son up from the bus everyday. We are located near Dorney Park in Allentown, in the East Penn school district. We have lots of toys, books, games, a friendly neighborhood, and a lovely park nearby. We are pet and smoke-free, have toys and equipment for babies and older kids, and have child safety measures in place. I am also experienced with using cloth diapers and am breast-feeding friendly. My older son has mild autism and speech delays, Read more so I am very familiar with various therapy techniques, like sign language and sensory toys, and am a believer in positive reinforcement. I am open to full-time, part-time, back-up, and occasional "date-night" sitting, and am flexible on my available hours. We would love to have you join us!
