I am a 48 year old mother of two beautiful, happy, polite and high achieving young adults. Andrew and Kayla. I was the youngest of 5 children and much younger than my other siblings. I was 10 years older than my first nephew, and with 9 more to follow I became the babysitter. I grew up surrounded by these children as all of my family built homes around my mother and fathers homestead. I then got married and became a stay at home mom. Along with my own two children, I babysat my neighbors two girls and my husbands brothers two children. After my youngest went to kindergarten, I went out into the work force as a medical assistant where I was compassionate about caring for our patients. I left in 2006 when I was offered a position in a bank as a mortgage lender. I remained there until 2014 Read more when the belly pretty much dumped for mortgages. Since I was commission and with little pay, I accepted a job as an office manager of his hydraulic shop, which is where I am employed now. The harshness of the caliber of men that come here is making this job more and more undesirable. I have just been contemplating starting my own cleaning business, but with osteo arthritis, it is sometimes a struggle to move furniture to do a good job. I also would be fairly upset with being disconnected from people. I thought about baby sitting in my area, but since Schuylkill county is a depressed and low income area, there is not much to be offered to help me continue to pay my bills. I am from an upstanding and hard working family. I have great morals, and values. Many of my family members have said that I have the touch of an angel or something of the sort since I am most often than not, able to calm their crying children down. I found this position being offered and felt as though this would be a great fit for all of us.
