My name is Maura Gownley and I am a 20 year old college student attending Villanova University. I love children and have been babysitting for several years. I manage two babysitting jobs per semester in the Philadelphia area and have babysat for 3 years during high school. I think it is important to be actively engaged whiled babysitting. It is easy to simply watch children play on iPads or watch television, however, it is important to me, as a babysitter, to encourage children be creative and active. I want the children that I babysit to have fun and be joyful during the time we spend together.
